Ross is a seasoned project management professional with over 20 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects across both public and private sectors. With a background in engineering and a strategic approach to leadership, he excels at driving operational efficiency, optimizing processes, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. His proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and solve problems under pressure has consistently resulted in successful project outcomes and long-term value.

As a project manager Ross oversees the full lifecycle of public works projects, including 3 waters reticulation, roading, and community infrastructure. He is known for turning around stalled or underperforming projects—most notably revitalising a series of stormwater upgrades, delivering the first ahead of schedule and under budget. His strengths lie in engaging stakeholders, defining clear project goals, and proactively managing risks to keep delivery on track.

Ross’s previous role as Contract Manager at Downer NZ saw him lead a $13M annual road maintenance and renewals contract for Whangarei District Council, achieving successful budget delivery and developing a high-performing field team. He holds a NZCE (Electrical) and certifications in governance, risk management, and utility locating. Resilient, financially astute, and an effective communicator, Ross brings tenacity and technical depth to every project he leads.
